Our quality, environmental and energy management systems are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 50001:2018. Our high standards for the environmental compatibility of our products are also reflected in the Blue Angel award.

Delivering purchased materials, supplying partners and dealers, shipping goods overseas - wherever production takes place, transportation is necessary. We avoid unnecessary journeys and use low-emission means of transport wherever possible.

To minimize the ecological footprint of our production, we want to use less water, energy and raw materials. We also develop our products and packaging in such a way that they have as little impact on the environment as possible.

Unfortunately, scrap and waste cannot be avoided, but we can influence how we deal with them. For the best possible recycling, we mainly use unmixed materials and have introduced clear labeling.

What does not accumulate does not have to be disposed of. We do not use toxic, environmentally harmful substances and comply with all legal regulations, including ROHS (which restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) and the EU chemicals regulation REACH.

In production, we pay attention to resource-conserving processes that save energy and minimize waste and scrap. And energy efficiency is also taken into account from the very beginning: IDEAL document shredders only consume electricity when they are in use.
