IDEAL AIR PRO app: Service discontinued as of 31 December 2026

What's changing? The IDEAL AIR PRO app will no longer be available.
After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue the IDEAL AIR PRO air purifier app and related services as of December 31, 2026. As of that date, the app and the associated online services will no longer be available. We know that users have appreciated the app as a convenient complement to their IDEAL air purifiers. We therefore want to inform you about this change in advance.
Your IDEAL air purifier remains fully functional
Discontinuing the app affects the service relating to the IDEAL AIR PRO app and its associated additional features. Your IDEAL AP PRO air purifier will continue to purify the air reliably. Operation directly on the device and, where applicable, via the remote control will, of course, remain available. Some features that could previously be individually adjusted via the app will unfortunately no longer be available, such as individual customisation of the fan levels and lighting brightness.
App features will no longer be available in the future
With the discontinuation of the IDEAL AIR PRO app, the following functions, among others, will no longer be available: control of the AP PRO air purifier via the app | filter status display | visualisation of outdoor air quality | networking of air purifiers within a Wi-Fi network | app-based displays | app convenience features, such as individual customisation of fan levels and lighting brightness.
Always on the safe side
Strong organizations protect themselves by minimizing risks from the outset—with high-security shredders from IDEAL that meet the highest security level, P-7. The solution when “secure” just isn’t secure enough.
The IDEAL AS10 will no longer function
Customers who also use an IDEAL AS10 will be affected by the discontinuation of the IDEAL AIR PRO app. The indoor air quality sensor was designed to measure and display indoor air quality in conjunction with the IDEAL AIR PRO app and its associated online services.Once the service is discontinued, the server connection required for the sensor to operate will no longer be available. As a result, the IDEAL AS10 will unfortunately no longer function. The current air quality will also no longer be displayed directly on the device through the colour-changing indicator.
All app and online functions will no longer be available
The enhanced convenience and analysis features provided through the IDEAL AIR PRO app and its associated online services will, however, no longer be available. These include, for example: detailed visualisation of indoor air quality | measurement history and charts | push notifications | remote access to connected air purifiers (from outside the Wi-Fi network) | creation and management of weekly schedules and timers | connection of the IDEAL AS10 to the IDEAL AIR PRO app.
Reason for discontinuation
The IDEAL AIR PRO app relies on a technical server and communications infrastructure, the ongoing operation of which requires considerable resources. After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue the service as of 31 December 2026. Unfortunately, continuing to provide this service in the long term is no longer economically viable.

The operation of the IDEAL AIR PRO app relies on a technical server and communications infrastructure, the ongoing maintenance of which requires a significant amount of effort. After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue the IDEAL AIR PRO app service effective December 31, 2026.
Unfortunately, it is no longer economically feasible to continue offering this service in the long term.
Your IDEAL AP PRO air purifier will remain fully functional.
Even after the IDEAL AIR PRO app is discontinued, all essential functions of the air purifier can still be used directly on the device and, where applicable, via the remote control.
The air purification function itself is not affected by the discontinuation of the app.
Once the IDEAL AIR PRO app is discontinued, the features provided through the app and its associated online services will no longer be available.
These include, in particular:
- Controlling the air purifier via the app
- Displaying the filter status within the app
- Visualization of outdoor air quality
- App-based displays and convenience features
- Networking of air purifiers within a Wi-Fi network
The IDEAL AS10 is also affected by the discontinuation of the IDEAL AIR PRO app. The indoor air quality sensor was designed to measure and display indoor air quality in conjunction with the IDEAL AIR PRO app. It is therefore also affected by the discontinuation of the app and its associated online services. Once the service is discontinued, the server connection required for the sensor to operate will no longer be available. As a result, the IDEAL AS10 will unfortunately no longer function.
All additional convenience and analysis features provided through the IDEAL AIR PRO app and its associated online services will no longer be available.
In particular, the following are no longer available:
- Visualization of measured indoor air quality within the app
- History and charts of measurement data
- Push notifications
- Remote access to connected air purifiers outside the Wi-Fi network
- Remote access to connected air purifiers
- Creation and management of weekly and scheduled plans
- Connecting the IDEAL AS10 to the IDEAL AIR PRO app
The IDEAL AS10 was designed to measure various indoor air quality parameters.
These include, among others:
- PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter levels
- VOC concentration
- Temperature
- Relative humidity
- Air pressure
Sales of the AS10 were discontinued more than two years ago, and the IDEAL PRO app functionality has not been promoted or communicated since then. For this reason, the connection between IDEAL AP PRO air purifiers, the app and the air quality sensor is no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
The IDEAL AS10 was designed as an optional add-on for air purifier users who wanted additional ways to monitor and manage their air quality. Used together with the IDEAL AIR PRO app, the AS10 provided additional convenience features such as displaying measurement data, viewing historical data, notifications and remote access.
The controls and settings on the air purifier itself remain available and can still be accessed via the control panel and, where applicable, via the remote control.
App-based features and settings will no longer be available after the shutdown date.

All app user data will be permanently deleted from all servers.
